I jist moved out from MN. I used to pay $700 for 2 bedroom apt. I was very lucky to find this deal. Otherwise the regular price is around $700 & higher for 1 bedroom apt.

go to sites like www.rent.com or www.apartments.com or www.startribune.com/rentals and check out apartments. sometimes you will find good deals on these websites. west suburbs... hopkins, st louis park, golden valley, bloomington are good areas to live. Uptown is fun too. If you are working at target or anywhere in downtown all of these cities have good bus service to downtown....craiglist is a good place to search too if you don't mind sharing room in a house or apartment.

I have one bedroom apt in minneapolis..and I want to sublease it from the mid of this August..becoz' I just found a better job in a different city...let me know if u r interested...two of us share this one bedroom apt and we both have to move to different cities....we moved here just this summer...so the one year lease is untill the end of May 2008... the rent is $595 per month plus electricity and $300 deposit...heat, water, trash are included in the rent..the rooms are very spacious...one large living room, one bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen....two huge closets in the bedroom (therefore, both can have seperate closets, if two people living)...also very nice neighborhood...close to Highway 169, 100, 7, 494 and also close to buslines (which can take u to the downtown minneapolis in 20 mins so that u don't have to worry about expensive parkings if u work in downtown)...if interested, email me back... N ya' all...have a great great weekend....
