Hey all,

I'm thinking of asking the ANA organizers to help set up a "Darj Hill-schools" reunion type of thing this yr at LA. Would be great to catch up with old friends, talk about shool escapades and more importantly relive the nostalgic darj jokes. I'm thinking that we could do some sort of an informal dinner/snacks and drinks before the first night's DJ party...No tickets to be sold (everyone would have to pay for the dinner on their own).

Any ex-darj students wanna comment on this or wanna help organize? Also, pls feel free to input what events you feel may be worth-while for the reunion.

I have been thinking of this also. It's a great idea in my opinion. BTW, I am a SAS product...ICSE 93.

Great I idea. But instead of saying Darjeeling district schools, I think it would be great to say from Darjeeling,Kalimpong & Kurseong. What you say? I am from DGH,86 batch.

Great Idea, I think it would be great to meet some old friends from NP. Its been long since I have seen any of my old buddies. Most NP get togethers have been in Thailand and Darj itself so it would be great opportunity to catch up. I hope we have a good turnout. NP batch '93.

Thought I'd revive this since the other thread on the Darj district schools has been bustling with activity!! I will not be able to do this reunion as I will be busy with many other activites during the ANA (sports/cultural events/parties and other forums), so anyone else who's interested could take over...It would be a treat to see all of you!

I am the same batch as you, but from Mount Hermon. Do you know Pradeep Shakya?
During my time SAS were unbeatable in most of the sports. I thought Mingma Sherpa was superb in TT. I saw him in Sydney 10 yrs ago.

You guys had some talented athletes. NP was a good chalenge in Football and Basketball.
One thing I realised now is that most of the athletic guys were from Nepal although we were minorities there. We Neps are pretty athetic I think.

Greenfly, I don't recall Pradeep but I had bunch of frens in MH. Some folks I know are CRP (karma), Rajan, Bibuti, Bunty Ghissing, Sarthak(Supandi) etc. Yeah SAS was good in most of the sporting activities.

Real Matrix, Buddha, Abishek, Karan, Abas are some of my frens from NP. They are also from around that batch.

Samsara, I am thinking of sending in the application form to do the reunion.

BTW, this year Sunil Gurung (SAS '91 ki '92??) will be the goalie for the NY Manang team at the ANA soccer! NY ma aaiyera ukso naam CK bhaichha !! LOL :D :D
