 Nepalese in India

HI,
There are so many Nepaleses in India,I think the same number as in Nepal . Even tough we are nepalese in general having same language , culture and origins...I think we are considered "Prabashi".....
I was quite surprised when , in one of the gatherings in US , when I introduced myself as a nepali from India .. some senior people said..ooh "PRABASHI " rahecha ... all i could tell them was ... US ma tapai haru lai chai ke bhannu ??
Anyways ... I never undetstood the diffference in attutude to us by out neplai brothers and sisters from nepal.... its sad but I guess thats how it is....
