Hi Guys!!!

Just want to know the different options and opinions from the Sajha Folks. I work for a reputed company in an IT department . I am working on a CPT coz. did not get through lottery in H1b. How long does it take me to get EAD or let me put it in a correct way..will I be able to apply for EAD if I get married to green card holder? I need to find a way to get a work permit or EAD by May 2015 so that I can continue my current work.... Any other options/suggestions would be highly appreciated...

If u get married to a GC holder, u can apply for green card based EAD in 1.5 to 2 years based on current visa bulletin.

4 weeks is pretty standard. It can take anywhere between 3-6 months.
