'Ex-King awaits arrest upon his Nepal return'

 If kot massacre and Panchyat system were not recorded in the history you would never know about it. So its really foolish 2 say that they are not in our history. Even kids of high school read about these incidents.

In fact there is no relation to the topic about who came first in Nepal. The thing is that we are able to say that Nepal is our country is only because Prithvi Narayan Shah united it. Otherwise, we would have born in some states of india if there were no SHAH regime in our country.

Talking about kiratis and other civilizations, of course they were there before shah and its not a issue. To every civilization , there is some other preceeding civilization.

there r several historians who hav mentioned current shah dynasty's ancestor to b of muslim origins who later converted to hindus, sum khan dudes. obviously they were smarter n cleverer than indegenous natives of west primarily gurung and magar who very easily came under thier influence and became loyal subjects. drabhya shah slained innocent ghale of liglig who were competing to sit in the throne. gorkha, a magar's traditional abode was later on annexed n thus the modern shah dynasty flourished. even thye hav distorted the history of gorkha which says that it was established precisely by hindu rulers as to stop muslim invaders from west. original native khas tribes r of karnali who r inter mingled with magars, close neighbours. they r real thakuris, either a title or distinct race. Shah made thier presence in current east nepal only 200 years ago, before that it was entirely inhabited by kiratis. sum rulers of kirati confiderates were influenced by hinduism n opted to keep one hindu name as well and had hired many bahun priests who betrayed them big time in favour of PNS and received many lands n property of native people, they played an instrumental role of espionage in defeating majh kirat also abode of khambus or rai. pallo kirat or abode of limbus were undefeatable even in seventeen battles, sikkim had supported the limbus. PNS played a cunning strategy of divide and rule policy. later on limbus n PNS made an agreement of ending war allowing limbu autnonomy but loosing the independent soveriegnty. in such complex historical backgrounds n diversityis it is obvious for sum shah kings r god n for sum aggressor n ruthless monsters. for sum a great far sighted king and unifier but for sum just an opportunist wanna b imperialist who was only concerned for territorial gain as to establish real hindustan rather than actual unification of diverse people by heart and soul as propogated by many books. current build ups in nepal r very much self explanatory, itself.

Y can't u people get over what was 1000s year ago..we are nepalese citizen..our Nepal history main starts for PNS unification..and Gyanendra was king in 21st century..No one know who came when..as we should all be going bak to afrika looking for ancestor...Red Indian where in US before white european landed..but white or black who live in US n holds amerikan citizen they are amerikans now...aborgines used to be in Australia white settlers moved in somewhere 2-3 hundred year ago..now they are bloody austrlian..get to the point we not discussing here abt jaat n paat..its 21st century just grow up and get a life..Y people have problems with other jaat ...y can't we accept n be as one nepalese..Its about govt trying to put Gyanendra inside bar and its in appropriate..Gyanendra was king he is been ousted he accept it n he is a Nepalese as much as we are...ghar ma dai chado aaye pani bhai payepani ama bau ko lagi dubai chora hun....dhilo chito hunchaa ...

so People grow up i would imagine people in Sajha are usually well aware/educated people but some time looking @ sajhako hero Yakthung laje just feel like u r a bunch of coward racist people..talks abt kirat muslim baun..fck that ...leave it where it is ...despite my jaat n dharma i respect people who respect other....I have seen shithead in my caste n shit head in other caste...good people in my caste and good people in other caste..its not abt caste religion..and we have to accept that united Nepal..we call our home is united by PNS and he is a founder of Nepal...

yes u r right. Shah and magars were the same. Infact they were brothers. Later they divided from each other. Coz if we llook propoerly, the rituals and culture of magar and shah are the same.

Though I believe the rumour about possible arrest of Big G is nothing but 'haawa guff', if some maoist leader has hinted it, then it's certainly some kind of 'hataas manasthiti ko upaj'. Six months in office and no achievement in any front. What else can they think of except going back to their old habit of putting the entire blame on others. Gyanendra's ghost is still necessary for them to show that they're relevant. However, they should've realized by now that Nepali public's mood changes too quickly and whom the people will strike this time around is not so difficult to guess.

 

 

Just like yakthung_laje i care about my Identity and preserving my heritage.
Whether i am Gurung,Magar,Kirati,Newar,Tharu,Thakali,Sherpa,Tamang, or other undermarginalized
people of Nepal, we need o preserve their culture,identity and practices/rituals.
We need to preserve and show respect to these ancient believes and culture because that's
what our ancestors have been doing so.
It's my IDENTITY.
JanaJatis have never been heard or just been scraped by Shah rulers for hundreds of years now.
for example, Proclaiming Nepal as the Hindu State.
Did they ever ask the people about it?
I am not against Nepal being hindu state, but at least Shah should have shown respect to JanaJatis.
JanaJatis means native/indiineous people. It means that before Shah grandfather and grandmother came from
Iran-Paki-India-Nepal, these people were already making Nepal their home.

There's never in a single Nepali history about Panchayat system telling how JanaJatis were
not allowed to access to education.
For fear that if janajatis received education, they would hold high posts.

I heard vaguely about  what's written in Prithivi Narayan Shah's book "Dibya Upadesh" about the Gurkhas. Its written in the book that the Gurungs, Magars, Rais and Limbus should be used as weapons BUT they should never be allowed to assume IMPORTANT Posts. I heard that  Dibya Upadesh is like a manual book for the ruling, feudal class. whatever they have learnt comes through this book. So does anyone knows about this? I am looking forward to read the full article and find the answer. SKH

I like what I am hearing from Yakthung and Sajhakohero.  While I do not condone the current degraded state of Nepal, I also am happy that Shah rule has ended.

As for Gyanendra Shah getting arrested upon his return to Nepal, I think that is just some "bakwaas", an example of yellow journalism.

Sure there might be an investigation, in some shape or form, on the royal massacre, but that's about it.

Sajhakohero, you sound like a hero but you base your hatred on what you have heard 'vaguely'?? Don't you want to verify details first?
