Yes, some bank might block their card if you use out of their area so better to inform them.

1)
they might charge upto 5 % international transaction fees.
2) Some visa and mc issued in Nepal could be used in Nepal and India only.....

No, you cannot use those cards issued from Nepal.

You will see on the back of the card: " Valid only in Nepal and India"

This is because they are not designed for forex exchange.

However, Himalayan Bank had introduced some prepaid cards previously which can be used.

Make sure which one you have.  If it is a normal card that most banks in Nepal use, you cannot use it anywhere expect Nepal and India.

Read on the back of the card.

No U cannot do this because its a matter of sending foreign currency (dollars) out of a country. So central bank strictly prohibits this act. I had tried to do this wen I was in NEPAL.

Well my point number 1 is also right. For a fact all banks charge some kind of international tyransaction fees.
about 2 to 2.5% is charged by Visa and MC and the rest 1% to 3% by the issueing bank.
Only capital one (all cards), AE with  high membership fees (in 100's) and, chase Premiere (149 first year- waived for the first year)does not have such fees.

No you cannot. The debit card issued in Nepal works only in Nepal and India. You cannot make any other currency transaction beside NPR and IRS. If you have foreign currency account in Nepal and if your have debit card associated with that account  you may use the card internationally but if it is not the case you cannot use it for any foreign currency transaction. Hope this helps
