Ash Raj,

For Nepali Citizen You will need a transit visa while travelling  through Benelux countries ( Neatherland, belgium, luxembourg), This is new rule implemented 6 months ago. If you dont have visa , they wont even let you Board  the plane in States.

alex21,
please don't pass information to people which you aren't sure about, I went to Nepal on Dec 2008 and came back on Jan 2009 via the same route which ash raj is talking about and the same airlines too, and I wasn't required to get any visa,
and yeah they let me board on the plane without any questions,

no worries ash_raj, enjoy your trip back home

Ash Raj,

Please note the highlighted part. You can  even click the link  and find the original source.

Information for Visa Applicants

Foreigners who intend to travel to the Schengen countries (Austria – Belgium – France –

Germany – Greece – Italy – Iceland – Denmark – Finland - Norway – Sweden – Luxemburg –

The Netherlands – Portugal – Spain – Estonia – Latvia – Lithuania - Poland - Hungary –

Czechia - Slovakia - Slovenia and Malta) for private or business purposes may receive a visa

for these countries valid for one day or up to 90 days. The visa may allow a single entry, two

or multiple entries.

This Embassy receives your visa application if your main destination is

Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg or the Netherlands.

Holders of valid Schengen visas issued by any one of the above mentioned countries do not

require an additional transit visa (category A or B) to transit any other Schengen country. A

transit visa is required if a foreigner wishes to travel through a Schengen country in transit on

the way to a non-Schengen country. If remaining at the airport, Nepalese citizens do not

need to obtain a transit visa, unless remaining in the transit area in Benelux.

It is not possible to change the purpose of the visa request after submitting the application.

There is no legal claim to obtain a visa.

Suggestions:

Going to Nepal via India don’t take expensive electronic stuffs, no too much cash.

Coming back, have to have proper documents i.e. US passport, Green card, otherwise, those Dhotis ask lot of questions, and might prevent you from boarding. Be careful.
