I had run into a similar situation few months ago. I was bombarded by pop ups, and also browser windows closed without any warning not to mention the overall performance degradation and frequent lock ups. Both McAfee and Norton could detect the trojan but failed to completely remove it. I don't exactly remember what tool I used but I had downloaded it for free following a Wikipedia link after googling for vundo. Just google it and there are loads of forums. I will try to add another posting if I can find what I used once I get home. Good luck!!!

Do you want to close the door or let it open all the time even you do not lock it? If it is open any thing can enter easily, therefore let it be on. Something is better than nothing. That is why I have defender
