Another suggestion if you can't find anyone. Ask for a wheel chair assistance from Etihad Airways. Those people will take her from the plane and assist in boarding the correct flight.

Thanks I485 and Fuel Tank. I have asked for a wheel chair assistant. Would it be a good idea to have them stay in airport hotel while they are traveling by wheel chair assistant. My fear is if they would have trouble check-in/check out at hotel and go to door for flight. Not sure, how helpful would be the wheel chair service at Abu Dhabi. Trying to activate this thread one more time, in case if there are anybody traveling on 19th by Etihad. Obviously they will be travelling by wheel chair but if they can meet nepeales, that could be a peace of mind, and would help specially during overnight transit at airport.
