With so many digital cameras out there, I am confused which one I should go for? I like 60 D but dont want to invest a lot of money if its not worth it. I am not a professional photographer and am going to use this camera for recreation purposes. Which one do you think is the best camera?

60D is a really good camera; i used to have one. if you have the money, time, and patience to learn and take pictures, go for it. if you don't take too many pictures, i'd suggest you to start with a cheaper used one, like t1i or t3; even xsi would be fine. dslr photography is really expensive because you need good lenses too; good body is not enough and good lenses cost quite a lot. if you want a 60D, you'll be spending ~1k+ for body and a 18-135mm lens but the lens is slow and you might want to add a prime lens to your kit. I couldn't/didn't want to keep on spending a lot on the camera i use maybe 1-2 times a month, so I sold it and downgraded to my previous megazoom - lumix fz-35, which still amazes me with the pictures it takes. but the temptation to re-own a dslr keeps on peaking every once in a while.
