I did not know what was the real meaning of Nepalese flag. If this webstite is right, ain't it horrible? I am not suggesting to change or do something with the flag. I just did heard of this meaning ever.
"The Nepal flag came into being on December 16, 1962. The Nepal flag is the only national flag which is not rectangular or square in shape. It comprises of a sun and a moon which had previously human faces but the images were removed when the flag was modernized in 1962. It is being said that the national flag of Nepal anticipates, that the nation will last as long as the sun and moon is there on earth. The blue border on the flag of Nepal signifies peace, red stands for the color of rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal. The curved moon is symbolic of the royal house and the sun represents the Rana dynasty."

They do NOT teach those kind of real truth in high school, but they are indeed the real facts. Many others have felt the same and gone through the experience of the real truth Vs what we are taught back home (many still unaware). Welcome to the world of REALITY.
If they do not want to change the shape, atleast the moon and the sun needs to go. They depict Ranas and the Shahs.

LOL look at these two great intelletuals probabely non Nepali might be just an ethnic tribe of the lands or tiny kingdoms before it was called NEPAL. Looks like you two love your ethnicity before being called Nepalese Because NEPAL WAS FORMED BY THE SHAH DYNASTY united all the small kingdoms and fought to protect our sovereignty against two super powers. OURS sadly even YOURS forefather fought under this flag to carve our identity in this world as being Nepalese..........UNITED BY THE SHAH KINGS......read this again maybe will enter your head UNITED BY THE SHAH KINGS along side our great fore fathers. I do not like what the RANAS did to the country. And I do not like some of the moves by the Kings of nepal too, BUT NEPAL IS NOW IN THE WORST POSITION IN HER WHOLE HISTORY....even worse than the RANA rule OR under ANy KING'S rule. CORRECT ME I dare you. NEW NEPAL is what you wanted?? a government completely for the people.............WHO AND WHERE IS THAT???.....Look at prachanda...LOL resented and vowed to stop Our Kings royal vivits to other countries and royal escorts to the airports where traffic would be stopped untill the convey passed. LOL now thats how Prachanda and all his ministers travel..........He already visited many countries as Prime minister( which is expected) but why take so many ministers with him with so much expense??? AND he even takes his Family to US and has up to a $1000 allowed spenditure among his family PERDAY. and similar expense allowed to all his ministers? LOL when there is flood crises in Nepal??? MY point here is I have seen people justifing the way Prachanda has changed since comming to power and still follow his footsteps and STILL blame our king for Nepals present state while avoiding to see how Nepal is sufering TODAY......and you guys are talking about our FLAG??? a sad reminder of how things used to be In Nepal....than what its becomming?????? Glue of unity is our King and watch ...........without our king even just a ceremonial one NEPAL will be destroyed and be driven into a deep never ending civil WAR between all the ethnic races..because people are now not calling them NEPALI FIRST...........they call themselves what their ethnic background is for eg;now we all are maadhesi, pahade, tharu, Newar, Baun, chettry, gurung, magar, rai, limbu, thakuri, rana, shah, etc etc.....ANd NOT NEPALI...first our cast THAN WE MIGHT BE NEPALI.........and This is where our problem lies......ONCE WE ALL FIGURE THAT WE ARE ALL FROM NEPAL AND WE ARE NEPALI FIRST THAN whatever caste.....................we will be in trouble....SO PLEASE LOOK AT THE MIRROR AND ASK YOUR SELF " AM I NEPALI FIRST OR MY ETHNIC CASTE?".....and please answer "I AM NEPALI FIRST"...now that will solve all racial issues. AS far as our Flag is concerned.......Leave it alone.

Do you also think that Nepal have to be seperated back to 22/24 baise/ chaubise Rajyas?? Beacause they were also united by Shah kings.
