So sorry to hear that. Nepal TPS processing center is Nebraska Service Center. They said 80% of Nepal TPS application has been processed. Do inquiry, and record shows they have approved within 8 days of inquiry. Good luck!!

Raj11 - mine is pending since September. There is no fixed timeline for USCIS to approve anything. As everything in the US, it depends on luck. If you are looking to travel, apply asap.

Hello, I just realized that after logging into USCIS website for my TPS case, clicked on documents, it shows my photos are unvalidated. What does that mean? It did allow me to submit my application and I took those pictures with a professional. What do you guys see?

I would not worry about that unless they specifically asks you to upload new photo. They should not reject your application for that. I applied for both I821 and I765. The documents I uploaded in Nov 10 are only showing in I765 and empty in I821. Do I have to upload the same documents on I821 section ? I765 is pending at step 3 (Decision making) and I821 is pending at step 2 (Biometric). Photo says "Unvalidated Photograph". This message is displayed in I765 : Current step: Case decision Estimated time remaining until your current step is completed: It is taking longer than expected to complete your current step. No, as it is concurrent filing it will only show in 765. Don’t worry about it. For unvalidated photo - see above. Estimated time remaining is pretty much a joke, so don’t think about it too much to preserve your mental sanity.

I don't know if they are playing April Fools day with me but my EAD case status changed to "Card is being Produced" today. I applied for a standalone EAD on October 18, 2023 to take advantage of the 540 days auto extension that was ending on October 24 and also because my employer was asking for an updated EAD with a valid expiry date. I applied to renew my TPS on March 8th, 2024 but that is still pending.

Weird. My TPS case status still says Being Actively Reviewed but I went to the Documents tab of my TPS application and saw a TPS approval notice there . Applied March 8th, approved April 1st. Looks like they merged my EAD and TPS together and since its been 6 months that I applied for EAD, they approved the late filed TPS together as well. I recently contacted my congressman and also emailed WH because I was getting anxious. Maybe that helped but I suggest you reach out to them as well Last edited: 01-Apr-24 03:09 PM

Find out who your district Congressional Rep is, go to their site and there's usually a contact form you can use asking help with a federal agency, in this case USCIS. ShreeRaam sounds like you filed this application in locker box. It wouldnt take this long if you have applied last September. . Locker box usually takes 6 -8 months . There is no point of writing emails to the representative or WH . Another thing is you have till next year to file tps for nepal .

E-verify will say you're eligible to work, but I don't think it will give the end date though. The auto-extension is only valid until the case decision is made. Just in case, if the case is denied you are not eligible to work from that day. There is no extension period, so the employers might not be really enthusiastic about hiring new people in that status. If filed online, create a service request for TPS application being processing outside of normal processing time through uscis website. (~2 months for TPS Nepal) .They will probably take action within couple of weeks!

@ShreeRam, I got an approval in about 2 weeks after submitting the Service Ticket from TSC. Also, check the documents tab, the I-797 approval letter might have been posted while the case was still showing actively reviewing! Hope that helps.

@Rosa1234 First check the processing time for the TPS application. ( https://egov.uscis.gov/process... Uscis will show average processing time, and provide a text box to enter your priority date. If your case is outside of processing time, USCIS will provide you an option to raise a service ticket!

Just like other folks here I filed TPS registration back in Oct. I opened uscis service request back in March but no response. I also reached out to White House with the concern and they did send me the email stating that they will reach out to uscis but still no response from them (Uscis).

@techlife123, if it has passed 30 days since you raised the service ticket, you can re raise another one. You will need to raise the service request for TPS case number (not EAD)

No need to cry, they already extended your EAD receipt validation date to TPS expiration date for Nepal. If you are working keep working. That must be the stupidest thing I have heard in a while. TPS does not restrict travel. Its just common sense to not travel frequently while on TPS because the whole point of then granting us TPS is because its not safe for you to return to your country. At the worst, CBP will ask you why you travelled(in a contemptuous way) but that's it. As long as you have your travel document and its valid and you are not doing anything fishy or travelling to a restricted country, no one will deny you entry. Just make sure not to travel too frequently and stay outside US for long period of time as this can potentially affect your TPS renewal. Last edited: 18-Apr-24 01:18 PM

Hey everyone, So i just came back from renewing my DL. I gave them my expired EAD, the I-797 notice for EAD application. The DMV team were already aware about the automatic extension rule so got my DL until June 24, 2025.

@rosa1234 if you also applied for EAD along with your TPS re-registration then yes you can continue to work. Your receipt notice must have information about extension for 180-540 days etc. Just send that to HR and they will update on the system.

For I9 check this under “Proof of an Automatic Extension”. https://www.uscis.gov/eadautoe... If you filed a Form I-765 renewal application on or after Oct. 27, 2023, and before April 8, 2024, and you are in one of the eligible categories below, even a Form I-797C notice that refers to a 180-day automatic extension still meets the regulatory requirements of the April 2024 temporary final rule. Therefore, you may present Form I-797C with your facially expired EAD to an employer to demonstrate that you are eligible for the up to 540-day automatic extension. Instead of issuing updated Form I-797C notices, USCIS will update the webpage that is referenced in the Form I-797C notice to reflect the change in the automatic extension period. Employees and employers should refer to this webpage when determining whether a Form I-797C, Notice of Action, if presented with the facially expired EAD, is acceptable for Form I-9. Employers may attach a copy of the webpage with the employee’s Form I-9 to document the extension of employment authorization and/or EAD validity. An individual’s automatic extension period may terminate prior to the maximum period either automatically when USCIS issues a decision on the applicant’s Form I-765 renewal application, or upon notice. @Rosa123 The Form I-797 they mailed on June 19, 2024 for the extension matches the IOE receipt number of the EAD physical card you received last time. If your last physical EAD card was received at your current address, then your Form I- 797 should also to be sent to this same address. If it isn't, then you need to find out at your last address where you received your last physical EAD card. Good luck!!!

Tps will never get terminated. There hasn’t been a single TPS that has been terminated. Example Salvadorans TPS granted at march 9 2001 until now 2025.So don’t expect any future president candidate having power to change law without bipartisanship support from both parties.

My Advance parole is pending since 8 months try to make service request but shows my application is currently under processing times so inquiry cannot be made at this time no luck at all.

I started this post in March, and now it's August. It seems that only a few people have received updated EAD cards or advance parole documents. At this point, I’ve lost hope of any updates will come through. With the TPS EAD set to expire in March 2025, it's crucial that they extend TPS before the election.

If anyone with pending re-registration(probably sabai re-registration pending cha jasto cha) debating on whether to apply for travel document, i would suggest to apply sooner rather than later. Even though NSC says processing time of 4.5 months, seems like it is not true for our cases from what i have seen. My previous AP filed on 2022 took Nine Months. I believe ShreeRaam bro confirmed his took Nine months as well. similar to Raj11 my I-131 has been pending since December and crossing my fingers that it gets adjudicated in next couple of weeks. @Raj11 - if it doesn't let you submit a case inquiry online , call USCIS @1800-375-5283 (say INFOPASS to bypass AVR to get connected to agent directly), They can open an inquiry for you (Hunay ta khi hoina but still if you want to)

Garo cha .. It's already mid-September. There is no update on the TPS renewal application. It's pending since Nov 2023 for me. My travel authorization recently expired, too. If I send in a paper application for a Travel Permit, how likely will I get it before March 2025? Any timelines on when the govt will extend TPS, will it be before the election?

@safalshyam i think that should be good. when I went to DMV, they just looked at the TPS expiration date and based on that they renewed my DL, i didnt have to show auto extension link or anything like that. But it could be different depending upon the state you are in
