NOA is glad to announce it's first General Meeting/Convention on the 26th May 2002 Sunday, the Memorial day weekend.
All members of the Nepalese community are cordially invited to participate in this Day long event. For out of town participant, it's perfect time to visit the Capital Washington D.C meet friends and mingle with the community crowd!

Short film/documentary interlude 'NHI SUTU' Tele movie
"Serpent worship in Nepal"
Provision are made for Children and toddler to play and swing at the TOT LOT and the
Youth can take full advantage of the time by shooting some pool or team-up for a games at the Table Tennis Board. Those interested in basket ball please bring in a ball for the game.
TV will be on to watch some favorite program and of course do not forget to watch the interesting documentaries.
Second Session:

4.15 PM - 5.15 PM Topical workshop:
Topic: "Multi-Culturism & Cultural Harmony in Nepal "
Representatives from various Nepalese Organizations in the US:
5.20 PM - 6.30 PM Scholar's Session:
Topic: "Recognition of Ethnic diversity in development of Nepal"
Various Paper Presentation by Scholars from Nepal UK Netherlands and USA

6.30 PM - 7.00 PM Coffee Break


7.00 PM - 8.00 PM Performance Art Session: ( Cultural Program )
Finale:

8.00PM - 8.30 PM Election committee announcement
First Executive Body of NOA inaugurated

8.30PM - 9.30PM Dinner

Individuals interested in making any topical presentation presentation are asked to contact us to include their presentations in the Program. Submitted presentation will be subject to time available in the program.AV equipment Hardware for Power Point presentation , overhead projection, microphones, lap -top will be available.
