It has been a hot summer and kids are on summer break driving us crazy.
It?s about time for some excitement and a break from the mundane tasks of
everyday life. This invitation is for all Nepalese and friends in Ohio to
come and see Mr. Deepak Bajracharya and his band performing live on stage.
Who is Deepak Bajracharya?
For those who don?t know
Deepak,
he is a famous Nepali singer who got his first public exposure in 1988
during a performance in City Hall in Kathmandu Nepal. His first song was
?chodi gayo priya? Since then he has recorded more than 250 songs. Deepak
has won several awards such as; Album of the year and best male vocal award
in 2003. He got best music video award in 2000 and several more. These are
some of his more popular songs; ?Kali kali hissi pareki?, ?Oh
amira?, ?Katti Baschau Maitigharma? etc. Deepak loves Latino
music and hence some of his songs have Latino rhythm.
One of the songs he is going to perform on August 13th is ?Jhumi Jhumi?
which is a beautiful Latino number that will mesmerize all the viewers with
flamenco style playing. ?Kati diun? also has pleasant Latino flavor
formatted into the Samba beat.

On the stage Deepak will be accompanied by Bijay Adhikary on guitar, Jeevan
Goff on keyboard, Nischal Shrestha on bass and Rahul Valdes on drums.
Also our talented hometown artists Bimal Bhattachan, Prem Thapa, Pramod Lama
and Mayur Gauchan will be there to entertain you.

Working Adults: $20
Students (valid ID required): $15
Children 12-18: $15
Children under 12: free
Nepali snacks ; momo, alu ko achar , samosa etc will be available for
sale.

We need your support to carry out programs like this. This is our first
year that we tried to host a group locally. If NAOO is not able to raise
enough money the organization will be discouraged to host such program. So
please make effort to attend the concert and bring some music & rhythm in
your lives.
