We H Promotions have been off the air waves for far far too long. There is no better way to resurface than by making a worthy charity announcement in this lovely summer we are having.
HelpNepal 'the one pound charity' (www.helpnepal.net) is having their annual fundraising evening in the Ealing Town Hall this Monday. The chief guest will be the Royal Nepalese Ambassador to the UK. The evening will consist of:
1 Presentation on Help Nepal. It will talk about Help Nepal's vision, aims, projects undertaken, future activities and it's financial statement.
2 Showing of the Dhruba Basnet's acclaimed documentary 'Killing Terrace'. Basnet for a period of time follows the lives of Maoist cadres and the locals living in the mountainous terrain of the three Maoist stronghold districts of Rukum, Rolpa and Jajarkot in West Nepal. Although this was filmed in 2001, the issues and the story in this documentary is still so pertinent and abject
