does it really matter where you work in OPT if you work for only one year. Suppose the Embassy runs the SSN will they know what kind of work you did in the organization apart from where you worked.

one more thing............does it rewally matter how many hours you work during OPT period

It has to be within your field of study.

The hours don't matter, you can even do volunteer work so long as it is in your field.
