Monarchy should be moulded as per the wish of the people: King Gyanendra | | | |
Thursday, 31 January 2008 | BY OUR REPORTER His Majesty King Gyanendra, in a special interview to Hari Lamshal, editor, Rastra-Vani weekly, on Friday has said: “We have remained silent as we have wished to make the peace process a success.” “What situation the country is passing through, how the country has been destabilized, the Nepalese people have to tell about the situation prevailing in the country.” ”In the history, the Institution of Monarchy has witnessed many such ups and downs. However, the Institution has always been run as per the wish of the Nepalese people.” When asked why the King had remained silent for about one year, HM had replied: “I am not unaware about the situation. Due to many reasons, people have not been able to speak. In the name of democracy, attempts have been made to destroy the country’s physical structures. I don’t think, these are democratic practices. Nobody should take the situation for granted.” To another question about the wish of HM, the King said: “We wish for peace, democracy and strengthening of nationalism. Which type of political system the Nepalese people want, that should be as per the wish of the people. That system has to be suitable for the country and the people. The Nepali people should be able to stand with their head held high. The effort to resolve instability also has to be done through a democratic process.” When asked why has HM remained silent, the King replied: “Silence also has action.” To another question on how HM had thought about moving forward the Institution of Monarchy, the King, in a serious tone had said: “The Nepalese people should make efforts to move forward the Institution of Monarchy. The heart of Nepal is so wide and deep that all the Nepalese can be accommodated. The efforts we made two years back was according to the spirit of the 2047 Constitution and it was to return in a democratic manner the rights of the people. We were not happy about the ways and means of the Maoists and that is why we made efforts for peace as per the wish of the people. We must admit that we were not successful in our efforts. As a result of that I feel the nation and the people are facing the present situation. The efforts we made was right and it is being proved in different ways now. The Monarchy does not get involved in politics and it should not. Monarchy should be moulded as per the wish of the people and it should be moved forward also similarly. Democracy has been weakened that is why the strong relations between the Monarchy and democracy should be expanded and moved forward." |

It has been talked before too. We should strongly avoid those crappy bloggers who have their own vested interest.
The king Gyanendra is the most civilised and democratic persona among the current political figures in Nepal. It's the misfortune of whole Nepal that such a person is being humiliated by those insane politician and we are just keeping silent.

Read this news from Kantipur online. Napushak / Hijazada haru le desh kasar chalauchhan ek jwolanta udhaharan. Read the last para in this posting, Prachanda is scared of losing student's election, which might have reverberation effect in CA election. What happened to democracy? What happened to multiparty competitive democracy? What is the difference between current political system, and Panchayat GauFarka (GauFarka = SPA Union) system?

Kantipur Report
KATHMANDU, Jan 31 - A meeting of the Seven Party-Alliance (SPA) steering committee, which was due to settle the row between the parties over Free Students’ Union election, ended inclusively Thursday.
The meeting held at the Maoist Central Office at Buddhanagar in the capital has been has been put off till Sunday after the top leaders too failed to hammer out an amicable solution to the dispute, said Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) leader Prem Suwal.
People’s Front Nepal and CPN-Maoist are against holding the students’ election prior to the CA while the rest of the major parties in the SPA are in its favour.
During Tuesday’s meeting of the steering committee, CPN-Maoist had reportedly proposed to suspend the elections scheduled for February 28, citing possibility of confrontation among the students due to the elections which might in turn affect the Constituent Assembly elections.

Guys, this is a time. I am also fed up with my sansar's bull crap. Let's counter attack them from sajha, let's see how much support we got. The approach mysansar has taken towards king is insane, king doesn't even have power, why in a hell you are so aggressive against him. May be because king cannot use internet site to blog to defend himself. First of all Umesh is not even a journalist, he is just a damn Blogger. You can spin the news in a way you want in blog but at least maintain the spirit, man.
Guys let’s make it happen.

MySansar.com does not have any weight as it was in the past. You can see it through the funding it gets these days. Well, Umesh might fool us by listing the fake amount, but you can easily see the quality by the type of posting it has. You will hardly find any quality postings. They are all yes men of Umesh. Many people who supported him in the past, monetarily, disagree with his position in last 1.5 years duration. He does not know himself where does he stand. He is master*bating through that website, and that is the best word to describe his blogsite. His website clearly writes that no one is allowed to defend King or offend Maoists. Well, it is a blog site, and he can do whatever pleases him and his supporters. That is his choice. That is why blogs are not regarded as a website that can be cited anywhere in any media as a legitimate source of information, because the statements made there are neither peer reviewed, nor edited by a third independent party. So, we don't have to take seriously about what is said in a blog site, and on top of that, Umesh's weight has gone down since he took side on vigilante's attacking anyone who might have views away from his own. His website never supported the idea of rule of land: ... attack on Keshari Singh's father son, attack on Prasai in the name of Exposure (should not Prachanda be exposed...).

look at the hijadapan of this 7 party alliance... they should be campaigning separately with their own party policies and should be bringing forward their own roadmaps to the people of Nepal. But instead they are going around the nation as 7 party alliance.. what is this man???? they have brought down the nation so much that they don't even have the guts to face the people individually.
