Hi,
I've heard different stories about H1B's validity after layoff.
Upon researching online and talking to a lawyer I found out that once an employer lays you off your H1B is invalid.

But, I've also heard that it's not a problem if you are without a job for a month or two, you can still transfer H1. Is this true? Has anyone been in this situation?
