While completing my I485 application through employment, I saw that Form G325 asks for employment history for the last 5 years. I have worked in gas stations in the past using SSN for several years. I did some research and it seems that people who are changing their status based on marriage and asylum are pardoned for any unauthorized employment, but not if it is employment based. Should I even mention the unauthorized employment? Has anyone gotten in trouble for unauthorized employment while filing i485 (employment based). Section 245k stated that the 180 day period of unauthorized employment only counts from the last lawful entry to the US. I went back home last year for a month and haven't worked illegally after coming back. Should I mention my past unauthorized employment or should I just not mention it at all.

I will refrain from any suggestions on my account (i.e., from my experience). You are the judge and the jury. I will mention few words here: at the time I was a student, during the summers of 2005-2007 I loved going to OC (of course, for the beaches and tan). My I-485 got approved in 2010. Other words to analyze: luck, database, ethics, DADT.
