Hello,
For my research purpose, I have to send mass text to my samples (atleast 500). If you have any idea, how I can do that in a reliable way, feel free to share. Some of my friends recommend me to use google talk.... any thoughts?? Thanks

times - what is the research on? Have you complied the text/survery? I used my College email list when I did mine, which is more legit and students tend to reply as they are all in the same boat as you! Just make sure before you send it acknowledge with a first email stating its for your research purpose, so they don't think it is a scam. Then follow up with your research text.
If you need more - there may be about 100 counts in Sajha who might be able to help you, and many other sources as well. God Speed!

Thanks sanug. We thought about sending emails but the question is how often college freshman students check their email everyday? Our research team should send the text 2 hrs before the college home game, as a motivation intervention. So, we decided to send the text. Still browsing the way to send the mass text. Any suggestions? Thanks

That is not easy as it sounds times, unless you create your own "group name" with those 500 people on your email... others in Sajha might have better idea!!

There are various ways to do that. If all of your sample numbers are from AT&T customers then you can send an email by listing all the number@txt.att.net using any email client(gmail, hotmail etc) e.g 3412223343@txt.att.net,1234566666@txt.att.net......
