@everestial007: I am in the same boat as you, except I sent my application a day earlier. Almost everybody that I know that had applied after me, have gotten their EADs. I wonder who manages USCIS workflow.

Hello everyone,

Looks like everyone account is treated so differently. I send mine documents on May 30th received notice as of June 4th saying they are processing my file with receipt # starting IOEXXX. I haven't received any further communication after that.

Where do you check for the update on your status. I checked on USCIS Case status check. and there is no update whatsoever. Am I missing something here? Is it good idea to contact the USCIS about the case status?

@Spandey808: That is what I am thinking, absolutely no definitive pattern. They do send you an online account notice, but its pretty much the same thing as the case status check. If you do contact USCIS please let us know what they say. As far as I know, if its under 3 months, they don't bother putting an inquiry in.

I will keep u posted if I make the call.

I also want to apply for AP, which I have never done before. Except the form what else do I require?
Is it too risky to go outside of US when TPS is about to expire. I have never been back to Nepal since 2013. Is it possible they will deport me on my arrival to USA?

I haven't had experience with advance parole but have also not heard of anyone who had a problem. A little more occasional questioning at the port of entry but everyone that I know that have traveled with AP have come through. It shouldn't make a difference if its about to expire or not.
However, AP is still discretionary. If you have an underlying status, feel free to go. If not, and you don't have future plans for a status, you have to leave in a few months anyways, so why not just wait it out.

uscis vancha - application are processed in the order they is received; not sure July ma pathaune le kasari july vitra EAD production ko update paye ??

- Maile 2 choti USCIS ko 2nd level officer sanga kura gareko thiye. First time rude officer paryo, hamro yeti uti kaam cha vancha. Tyo sanga k mukh lagnu vani ali ali kura garera tare. 2 weeks pachi 2nd choti call garda, constipation vako officer jasto sanga kura vayo - lagadai thiyo ki tyo toilet ma basera afno constipation clear gardai kura gareko. Help garne kehi chat kaat chaina - just wait re !!!

Another update:
Maile job offer pani accept gari sake. Employer le sabai process suru gari sakyo - form fill up, I9 fill up, clearance. Maile mero EAD aainasakeko but on the process and should arrive in 2 weeks vanera update gareko chu.
So, - ahile EAD auna vanda agadi I9 varda ta kehi farak pardaiana ni ? unless I am not starting my employment before EAD in hand.
- mero 2 weeks pachi ko job starting date cha -> incase card ayena vane k garda thik huncha ? Employer le kehi week extend garna manla ? Any one (or anyone relative, friends) had an experience like this before - How did you handle it ?

@everestial007

You can put a case inquiry after 3 month mark. Until then there is nothing you can really do.

To answer your question regarding the EAD, technically you cannot start until you get your EAD on your hand. Doesn't I9 need EAD number? also I9 is held internally so it doesn't really matter until it has to be presented unless your company is an e-verify company. You can try starting without the EAD if your company is willing to risk it, the start date wouldn't matter if the date is within the EAD validity dates if required to present later. But I doubt your employer will be willing to take the risk, but you can always try. Of course your employer will wait for you, but it will be tough once the wait period gets uncomfortable.

Technicality ta bujhiyo. Also, yesto sensitive topic ma nepali ma lekhnu paryo.
Tara kasaiko dherai chito ani kasaiko updates pani naaune (today is 2 months mark).
Malai lagcha USCIS is deliberately doing this - at least by internal memo circulation ( which happens every where in the world). Ani tyo 2nd level officer ko behaviour pani tesati thiyo.

Anyways I totally agree. Maile dherai forum ma yehi advice payeko chu. If possible pyackman and StatusPidit inbox me your number. There is something I would like to discuss.

Thanks,

Dear everestial007!
I could not get away without commenting your case. You have not mentioned what type of EAD you have with you right now. FYI... If you have a TPS EAD that has June 24 2018 expiration date with you right now then you can start your new job immediately because you don't have to wait for your new extended TPS CARD until December 24 2018 since your expired TPS (from June 24 2018) is automatically extended for six months until December 24 2018.
You can give that EAD with Federal Notice which you can get it from provided link (
https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2018/05/22/2018-10868/termination-of-the-designation-of-nepal-for-temporary-protected-status
) when you fill I-9 and you are eligible and ready to work at this point.

Hello Vampire suck: this forum line is about TPS ead, what else would I talk about. Ani 180 days ko extension barema malai thaha cha. So, please read first before you say "i couldn't get away without commenting on your case." Also USCIS should be working it's processing faster ; after all we pay so much money is for faster processing, saying that work load is bigger is just a bullshit. The more documents means more money, means they have money to hire extra hands.
