1). King and moaists are two sides of a coin. Both of them believe in dictatorship, not on democracy. Don't dissociate king from Maoists. Democratic forces are just working hard to bring them in the mainstream of the politics. This is the hard fact.

2). King can no more be the symbol of unity. It could be some time in history. But time has now changed. In the democratic and civilized society, no one can be or do everything. He/she can lead, but s/he is not the solution for all. Because you don't believe on democracy,you don't know about this. If you wanna know, you had better join the school again. Otherwise, you are just pretending to show your arms and ego (only hypocrates do that). I am not blaming you but just commeting on your logics. Don't take it otherwise, I believe it will help you a lot in future.

3). Kingship is time-tested. No more test is required. People are now aware. They are demanding for their rights and situation is rather difficult now. But it will get streamlined over time. 2. If the king had a single bit of morality, he should have already abdicated. He should have then come back to the ground to fight thru political process. Does he have any courage?

He just asked for 3yrs period to bring peace to the country and bring criminals to justice and nonetheless promised fair democratic election. Making  people suffer has always been their (Intellectual Democratic leaders) weapon to do their dirty politics.
Democracy is for the people not for the people to suffer (As far as I know) but for our Country's context may be just for politicians.
Regarding the people's strength;
These leaders tried all they cud to create havoc during that period but they failed becoz ur so called people strength were not with them becoz people 've already seen, known and been through their true colour. So don't ask for courage and morality to king, instead ask ur leaders.

The state has placed the king in certain position to remain as a king but not a ruler. There are different organs of state to run the country. There is executive and legislative.
