I just felt dizzy when I read about the tragic death of 13 people yesterday by a drunk army man. I did not even feel like talking since yesterday. Naturally, we were all sad for the black day which shall always haunt us. But when I heard about the Nepal Bandh and ritos by the hooligans, obviously encouraged by the bigger thugs of the political parties, it made me feel even more sad. Simply put, it was disgusting. Trying to win political benefit from the dead? I never thought that the political parties in Nepal could act this recklessly and shamelessly. When everyone should have been trying to offer condolences to the family of the victims and when everyone should have been committed towards finding the facts, the political parties resorted to their old dirty tricks: Nepal closure by force. That too shedding crocodile tears. When UML broke up into Bamdev faction and Makune faction,Girija shed crocodile tears but it is well know among the political circle that he opened bottles of whishky to celebrate inside closed doors. Similarly, when Deuba broke Nepali congress, Makune and his followers shed crocodile tears in public while celebrating in privacy. I am not trying to compare the breaking up of the corrupt parties with the death of innocent Nepalese. The breaking up of the corrupts was welcomed by the public whereas the death has cast a dark cloud of sadness over all peace-loving people of the world. The point I am trying to drive home is that - seeing the action of the irresponsible political parties - this tragic incident was more of an opportunity for the political parties to create further chaos in the country. Aftre all, why would they care about deaths of 13 villagers in some corner of Kathmandu? For them, gaining political advantage is all that matters, no matter of how. The riot and forced closure of Kathmandu was a sign of deep disrespect the political parties have bestowed upon the dead.

Do the political parties even care about what is going on in our country? Take my word but they must be happy of the tragic incident. Because, now they can do Nepal Bands, more riots, fire more tyres on the streets and destroy more public properties. Their main aim is to create havoc on the streets so that they can come to power by hook or by crook.

Did we ever have any bandhs or did political party leaders do anything when civilians were blown into pieces by Maoists in Chitwan? They know doing so would not have gotten them anywhere, may be to hell since Maoists would have come after them. They are bunch of opportunists who should have been shot by that crazy soldier.

hey you people esp hurry government and maoist aren't in a same boat. government are to serve the people not kill them. maoists doesn't listing to anybody that's why they are branded terrorist. Army killing 13 people just came out if maoist didn't have decleared cease fire the news would have come like this RNA killed 13 terrorist. i wonder how many innocent people they misbehaved with and killed in the names of killing maiost. you people should be shamed of trying to cover the misdeed of RNA trying to blame the political parties of taking advanages. Political parties were against king and his army long before and what do you mean by they are only after the chair? did you see six party going in the government when gyane asked them to make the government? no they did not in fact they didn't agree until gyane gave the powers back to the people. why the hell are you guys trying to mis led nepalese people who believe strongly in democracy? you king will be long gone just wait till the right time. and after that you people will be the one who whill be bad mouthing the king. yes sir you people will the so called mandales. that's what happened after 1990. political parties are so weak hearted that they thought these panches realised their mistake and they will try to take nepal to the future and let them participate in the election but in vein these panches are always back stabbers. i personally know a reputed guy who welcomed the poush 1 2017 and later again celebrated chaitra 26 2047 and now again he went to celebrate feb 1. these are the people that are eating nepal. we have to get rid of all the panches Long live Republic down with Gyane

I agree with Rambhuyadab. The parties are shedding crocodile tears and then disrupting everyday life to get political advantage. They are trying to win favor at the expense of the dead.

As far the some valid sources..this incicident had nothing to do with the political parties backhome. The guy (soldier) was in love with (foooling around with )a Tamang woman and her folks obejected to the ordeal. So he was so pissed off that he came at night and shot everybody dead.

And i am happy because this might lead to the discussion on how the army should be operated. if not now , may be by the next government.

The problem is that majority of Nepalese have substances abuse problem. Most of them either are chain smokers, alcoholics or drug addicts. The abuse has been on for generations therefore the genetic make up of following generation has been altered. This is lame truth about bahadurs. Thats why your country is dying off because of the crazy citizens. The women were better but now they are also doing the same for example look the sajha dance party even married women with are sitting their with alcohol geezzzz christ. I wonder where this madness is going to take you people. I think people who still have their sanity intact should take over and make the appropriate changes.

I see lots of people blaming KG for the current massacre but I don't think he ordered or was involved with the incident. Why would KG do that? Any good reason?

kiwigal, I have seen you using Bahadurs for Nepalis. If you are a Nepali then you are among one of those Bahadurs, unfortunately. If you are not then it is none of your business interfering in domestic matters of Nepalese. Just a thought. Do not take it personally. peace out

I wish Nepali political parties had some sense of respect towards the victims of the mishap. But alas! they are making a mockery out of the dead. It seems they were praying to the gods to kill some innocent poeple so that they could organize demonstraions and disrupt public life. Look at the picture below. How disgusting. It is high time the political parties started showing some sense of responsibility towards Nepali people.

Beware, guys, political parties of Nepal have greater resolve than you could fathom. This kind of denunciation has no real value in the intellectual world. you have to grow up to evaluate these incidents in the light of the overall development of Nepalese politics.

What the hell is tha picture all about? I never thought that the political parties could stoop this lowl. In fact, no one can stoop to this level, save for some retarded soul here and there in sajha who support this kind of incident. But a glimmer of hope is there. The corrupt leaders and their boot-licker will be made to pay the price. And the price would be very dear indeed.

If you have any respect for the murdered people, oppose the regime responsible for the shooting of innocents on purpose and in a planned way to create an atmoshphere of raw terror. If not, next time, the victim will be your father, son, mother, brother, that is if you have not already sold them to G and his goon party.
