नेपालमा भैरा को आन्दोलन जातीय हुनु पर्ने हो कि बर्गीय ?I dont see much difference among  bahun beaurocrats,chettri generals,tharu jamindars,ex-gurkha major gurungs/magars or a newar  business moguls.THey all represent the elitists in every race /ethnic groups.So the state -reconstructing should ve mor focussed on the have-nots rather that generalising ethnic groups.कृपया आफ्ना बिचारहरु सव्य भाषा मा दिनु होला.

I don't agree with any kind of division other than geographical and strategic point of view.

How can you divide a country in terms of class? There are different class of people spread around Nepal; besides once a class is upgraded would you restructure the country again?

I am all for fedral republic; but the division by ethnic group is ridiculous.

Poverty is one of the biggest problems even in the US. The difference is that the poor have more options in the US than in Nepal.

Dude, i m not talking about dividing the country in terms of class.I just dont like the way these so called Elites are hijacking  the wish of nepalese for better education, employment and reach in the state structures to a hatred -filled drive for  communal/ethnic states.

What i think of this so called ethnic revolution is that, it is too sensitive to be mixed in a big revolution. Lines will be crossed, emotion will prevail over mind. Ethnical issue will turn into regional (as same ethnic group from different states will have different priorities after states are divided). People will try to stick to their ethnicity as the primary dividing factor will be ethnicity. Do we want to keep this ethnical barrier? It depends on people you talk to. Personally, i think the best way to go forward is to blend in all the ethnic groups, so that the next generation will be more concerned about development, money and inclusiveness of the society. More you divide, more easier gonna be for politicians to rule us and bigger the chances for corrupt politicians. Then after that comes the emotion where people are afraid that their distinct identity will slowly disappear which was as long as 3 4 thousands ago even before there was Nepal or any other country. Other identity will get the upper hand and coming generations will be barred from studying the distinct heritage that we came from. That concern is very legit, so whats the middle option we got? I think best way to go is first see if the ethnicity based states are economically feasible and socially sustainable? If the answer is yes then next question is if it is in the best interest of majority people? If we can say yes to both questions then why not? Bring in all communities together see which communities are behind and need help coming forward, give them the identity and opportunity they need instead of inciting people against each other.
If it is not possible to have ethnicity based identity for economic and social reasons then why not sit together and see which particular ethnicity needs help and again same thing give them the help they need at the same type keeping the competitive development in place. Let the janajatis have their own proud history in the new curriculum and teach them the bond it shares with other ethnic groups. At the end, it should be about helping each other, however we do it do not matter. Only thing that is important is the peace in our country and smile on face of our next generation.

This is the same sh!t that happened when the maoists came, way back 10 years ago. Rabble rousers are quick to boil Nepali blood and then we Nepali janata, like the stupid moronic sheep that we are, go 'meei meei' and start a stampede.

If some educated guy comes to the front to try and help people sort out things. they call him elite and pull him down. wth is wrong with being educated? The people calling elite this, elite that, kathmandu niwasi this, that, are actually a very few percentage of the population but with a big voice. you know - jo chor testko thulo swor. What should be done the next time such asswipes open their mouths to slander someone is they should be brought out onto the spotlight. "la aija. tero solution bhan. hami ni sunum."

people are quick to negatively criticize but very slow to encourage people who want to make a difference. with that attitude, no one will stay in nepal for long and it will abandoned by all who follow the path of reason.

Sorry i couldnt help ranting. People in power donot follow reason. They all need to be rounded up, blindfolded, and left in Mexico. Bastards.
