LA KHATTAM LA BARBAAD
During the hearing, the court's conservative justices seemed to agree with the administration’s argument that the government has the final say on when to end these protections and that judges do not have the power to stop them. On the other hand, lawyers for the migrants argued that the decision was made unfairly and was driven by racial bias rather than the actual conditions in those countries. If the Supreme Court officially sides with the president, more than a million people from several different countries could lose their legal status and face the risk of being sent back to dangerous places. A final decision is expected by the end of June, and it will determine whether the government can quickly end these protections without being questioned by the courts.
