Msg 468, Level 16, State 9, Line 2 Cannot resolve the collation conflict between "SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS" and "Latin1_General_CI_AI" in the equal to operation. I am trying to join two tables which are in two different database. The joining fields are nvarvhar datatype and I get this conflict. If it was number, I could cast both of them to int, but these are string so I cant cast. I am afraid to change the collation of one of the database to other's type because that might crash the applications.  Is there any solution to this? thank for help
