Hello states2006 If you are really poor and helpless, how did you managed to get to US? It requires you to show documentation and as far as I know it must have required you to show you have around $40K to get into US to majority univ. Don't lie us like you lie to your foreign friends, if you tell you are poor you would not be just lying to urself but the real poor people back home. There is no way on earth you could even managed to pay required sevis or even visa charge forget about other cost. Be shameful of your age and of your Nepali brother and sister who are actually going over Dubai and qatar cuz they cannot afford to apply for middle west. You know what you won't get anything lying here other than Sympathy.

Just woke up and looking at this revived 16 years old thread and replies - some stories man. @xkavrepalanchok, don't come to conclusions so fast. If states2006 is really who he is, it looks like he is telling truth. He mentioned "Everest Cafe" in St Louis and a quick google brought me to https://www.goodfoodstl.com/20... . He seems to be adopted by an American climber hence he has his last name as States. I cannot gurantee the legitimacy of the website nor that of state2006 unless you or I personally dont meet him. However the restro seems to be real. I really want to believe his stories and hope he is telling the truth.

@lazy keta plz get to know the fact. I have a feeling you also came to States through F1 visa for me it was a different context. When I read what OP was saying it feels like nothing more than some dramatic story as I am also planning to assist someone from Nepal on his visa procedure. Please believe me on this, I know at least the basic of how US Embassy Nepal visa immigration service works out.The expenses are ridiculously high. Just because he named the restaurant does necessarily mean he actually worked there. I also know name of restaurant in Europe and actually I am planning to go there for visit but it does not necessarily mean I am an European or start claiming.

@xkavrepalanchok, this will be my last reply to you on this post, but never say never :-). You are again jumping to conclusions and making assumptions. This time you did not spare me/my status/my where abouts - I will come to this later. First, I am not saying what is true or false, I am just laying out what I found in search. I am not claiming those are true but at least the restro seems to be legit and have opened around the same time this thread was started. Again, he may or may not be the owner of the restro. Now coming to your point on you being on a different context and knowing the basic of how US embassy in Nepal visa immigration service works out - I "believe" you. I admire your work on helping out visa procedure for a fellow Nepali (FACT check here - he/she/it should be Nepali as you mentioned someone from Nepal). I did not know that expenses are ridiculously high but you assumed that I am in US and came through F1 VISA but you ignored that I would not know the expenses for VISA procedure. Generally if we are surrounded by peeps who keep on betraying us, try to be a$$hole - we become more cautious and tend to see everyone with the same lens. I get that we should not believe anyone easily specially in this web where everyone is a keyboard warrior. Yet you want me to believe you and it's ok for me. Finally, coming back to your feeling on how I came to states, dear Sherlock - I would like to keep this as a mystery and I would neither confirm nor deny. Daya, kuchh to hai. Dhudo daya, dhudo.
